Metro South Colleges Inc. is committed to delivering a rigorous, CHED-compliant Bachelor of Science in Nursing education that integrates outcomes-based learning, simulation-enhanced clinical training, and community engagement — equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for professional nursing practice in hospital, community, and global healthcare settings.
How We Approach Nursing Education
Metro South Colleges Inc. believes that nursing education is most effective when it combines academic rigor with authentic clinical immersion. We practice outcomes-based education — where every course, every clinical rotation, and every assessment is designed backward from the competencies that graduates must demonstrate. The BSN program of Metro South Colleges Inc. is guided by the following program-level educational goals, aligned with CHED CMO No. 15, Series of 2017:
Apply the nursing process as a systematic approach to the delivery of safe and quality nursing care in diverse healthcare settings.
Demonstrate competence in clinical nursing practice, including hospital, community, occupational, and home health settings.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, communities, and members of the inter-professional healthcare team.
Apply research findings and evidence-based practice principles to improve nursing care delivery.
Practice with adherence to professional, ethical, and legal standards of nursing practice in the Philippines.
